ABOUT US
For well over a decade, The WoW Team have been skiing in Italy, with friends and family, both old and young and an ever increasing number of clients.
Over the years, comprising many courses, kilometres and pistes, they have developed a passion for skiing, and more specifically, skiing in the mighty Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where they ‘all’ became addicted to the beauty of the area.
Since 2007, an exclusive property in the village of La Villa in Alta Badia, has been transformed into our base for WoW Ski Tours.

As you can imagine therefore, with well over a decade of seasons under their belts, they have acquired an extensive knowledge of the 12 linked ski areas comprising the Dolomiti Superski Pass. Unsurprisingly too, with a base in such an exquisite place, the ever growing group of fellow skiers visit annually expecting to be led round the perfectly groomed pistes or off into the unpisted valleys, hoping to take in some spectacular sights and the best wine and gastronomic delights the area can offer.
The team are qualified IASI ski instructors, a certfication they gained with the help of the ‘Warren Smith Ski Academy’. They speak fluent Italian, and as such their understanding of true Dolomiti life, from pistes to pizza, from couloirs to coffee, is genuinely local, focusing on hidden gems and secret finds, rather than the well-worn routes of some of the bigger travel companies, who could never offer that WoW factor. That intimate knowledge of where to ski, what to drink, what to eat and where to go, gained over many years will make the difference between just a ski holiday and a WoW Ski Tour. Come and share the WoW experience with small groups of people who just love to ski!.

Thanks firstly to you all for being welcoming and putting us all at ease from the very start, before even booking...We were blessed with gorgeous weather all week, and despite no new snow the pistes were groomed to perfection...I can't remember a week of better skiing in fact. The group gelled really well and been configured such that we all skied to a similar level. The small size really was appreciated for its nimbleness, allowing as much skiing to be done vs regrouping continually....and the knowledge of the local area and local contacts was invaluable when things went awry.
If I had to summarise it in four words... I had a blast.

and although thanks to a global pandemic the travel and transit through Amsterdam was a little stressful - that stress was soon a thing of the past once at the hotel in the beautiful Italian dolomites
Lovely week with likeminded people and expert guided ski tours by Ker, Lizzie and Leia - and good to spend another week with Janice and Helen who were also second timers
If you want to ski in an amazing area with fantastic pisted runs - but struggle to find fiends who have the time to join you - don’t put it off just book a WOW trip you’ll not regret it.

I’ve only just told someone else this morning about how fab your ski holidays are!
‘WowSki introduced me to the Dolomites! It was the best ski holiday of my life ! I cannot understand why I have not been here before, but I’m already planning on returning next year. Lizzie’s guiding was essential. We skied to so many new places and yet only scratched the surface of this beautiful, fascinating, historic and magical area with the best mountain cuisine in the world. The finale was skiing past the First World War relics high in the peaks, followed by the hidden valley, finished of by a horse-drawn ski tow. That was a Narnia moment! We had such fun and it was a great, diverse group.’

The most memorable skiing holiday ever! Absolutely perfect skiing on unusually quiet slopes and then ...Coronavirus.....Italy locked down. Ker and Lizzie gave us such a great welcome and they looked after us so well including a fabulous supper in their home. It is so relaxing to be driven, guided, have lunch booked for you and all in the company of a group of wonderful women! oh and Ker!!! It is a measure of a great host when he has to help you escape in the van over the border to Austria! I can only say that I will look forward to a whole week with them next year.

This is my second year with Wow. Another great week, fabulous weather even in early January . Met my fabulous new friend Debra as my new buddy for the week. Beautifully shepharded around by Ker on and off the slopes. He even advises on new ski jackets and puts his heart and soul into you having a holiday to remember.
