Singles Women Only Introduction to Off piste skiing.

Ladies…..perhaps you’ve dabbled in popping off the side of the piste and enjoyed that amazing feeling of a different texture under your feet? Perhaps you’ve caught glimpses of shots taken in remote, peaceful places, showing those precious curves in powder snow, and wanted to try the same yourself. If you have, then no doubt you’re still grinning – if you haven’t it’s way past time you did. Off piste skiing should never be thought of as the exclusive domain of hardened ski dudes. In the right environment, with the right group, it’s for everyone.

 

Our Ladies Introductory Off Piste/ Backcountry skiing holiday for single women skiers and solo travellers was created for those looking to try something a little more demanding, by making the move from piste skiing into off piste and back country terrain. At WoW, we understand that women process information and assess risk differently than our male counterparts, and more often than not, we prefer the reassurance of technical instruction, and descents specifically targeted for our level.

Under the instruction of our English speaking IFMGA qualified guide, in a small group of no more than 6 lady skiers, you will initially be introduced to varying shallower pitches, in order to practice your off piste technique. You will be given advice, drills and exercises to increase your snow sensitivity, before embarking on descents that will have you ‘WoWing’ with delight. Your satisfaction and sense of personal achievement will be absolute. It won’t be just any anonymous skier laying down those enviable tracks in the powder at the end of your week, it will be you.
